Stéphane Jean holds a PhD in Management. He studied at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan and is an associate professor of economics and management.

Having started out his career underwriting major industrial risks in Paris and London at Allianz, Stéphane Jean moved to Allianz France as Head of International Management Control.

He then became Head of Strategy and Financial Analysis for the Finance unit and then Head of the Operations department and compensation management.

Stéphane Jean set up Hub Midcorp in 2016 and was put in charge of underwriting and business management in Paris in 2018.

In 2021, Stéphane Jean joined the Covéa Group as Head of Regional Business Delegations, before becoming Head of Corporate Markets within the Commercial Lines department at MMA.

He became Chief Commercial Lines Officer at MMA in April 2024. In this role, he has become a member of the Covéa Group’s Executive Committee France.
