A graduate of national engineering school ENSEEIHT in Toulouse, Philippe Cuvelier began his career as an engineer at EADS (Astrium).

He went on to become project manager at Agence France Presse and head of the Microsoft Technology department at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, before joining Avanade (part of the Accenture Group) in 2003 as development director, later becoming head of technical consulting.

In 2008, he was appointed Software Development Director at BRED Banque Populaire, in charge of transforming the IT system, before being promoted to Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the bank and becoming a member of the Executive Committee in 2011.

Phillipe Cuvelier joined La Banque Postale in 2016 as Deputy CIO, member of the La Banque Postale General Management Committee and member of the Réseau La Poste Executive Committee. He became CIO of La Banque Postale and Réseau La Poste in 2019.

He joined Covéa in 2022 as the Group’s Chief Information Systems and Digital Officer.
