Thierry Francq

A graduate of the École Polytechnique and ENSEA and Board member of INSEE, Thierry Francq has spent the majority of his career at the Forecasting Directorate of the French Ministry for the Economy, the Agence des Participations de l’Etat (the French Government Shareholding Agency) and the French Treasury, including as Deputy Director of the Insurance department and Head of the Financial Sector Division.
He served as General Secretary of the French Financial Markets Supervisory Authority (AMF) from 2009 to 2012, and in 2013 was appointed Deputy Commissioner General for Investment for the French Prime Minister.
He joined Covéa in 2018 as Director of the Cabinet of the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
In 2020, he was appointed Chief Corporate Officer of Covéa Coopérations and Chief Transformation and International Activities Officer.
He was appointed Chief Regulatory and Economic Affairs Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Covéa in 2023.
